Goya's painting Children with a Cart has been stolen. It was apparently en route to the New York Guggenheim, passing through Scranton, PA (someone check up on Dwight Schrute).
I have to admit I love hearing about these stories. It's all so very James Bond/Pink Panther. The good news in this case, unlike the Edvard Munch painting stolen last year (and, luckily, recovered), is that at least the Toledo Museum of Art had the good sense to insure the painting.
